Step 1: Contact Support
Email returns@partsblue.ca with the subject line: Return Request - [Your Order Number]. You must include:
Step 2: Written Authorisation
A PartsBlue specialist will review your request within 24–48 business hours. If approved, we will provide you with a Return Instruction Email containing RMA and the correct warehouse return address.
Note: Do not ship items back to the "shipped from" address on your original label without our written approval.
Step 3: Shipping Your Item
Ship the part using a carrier of your choice (we recommend Canada Post or UPS with tracking). Reply to your support thread with the Tracking Number so we can monitor the arrival.
Step 4: Inspection & Refund
Once the part is received at our facility, it will undergo a physical inspection. Upon approval, your refund (minus applicable fees) will be processed back to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
To ensure you get the right part without delay, we do not offer traditional exchanges. If you need a different part, please place a new order on our website immediately. We will process your return for the original item separately.

For any questions regarding our policy or to check the status of a return:
How do I start a return? Since we don’t use an automated RMA system, simply email returns@partsblue.ca with your Order Number and a photo of the part in its original box. A real person from our support team will review your request and provide shipping instructions within 24–48 business hours.
Can I return a part after 30 days? Our standard return window is 30 days from the delivery date. After this period, parts are generally not eligible for return unless there is a valid warranty claim under the manufacturer's terms.
Do I have to pay for return shipping?
What if I opened the box to check the part? That’s perfectly fine! You can open the box to inspect the item. However, the part must remain uninstalled. If there are grease marks, scuffs from a wrench, or if the part has been "test-fitted" onto the vehicle, we cannot accept it for return.
Can I return electrical parts? Electrical components (sensors, ECUs, bulbs, etc.) are Final Sale once the manufacturer’s plastic seal or box is opened. These items are sensitive to voltage spikes and cannot be resold once handled.
The website said it fit my car, but it doesn't. Is this a "Website Error"? We strive for 100% accuracy, but automotive data can vary. If our fitment tool explicitly confirms the part for your specific VIN and it does not fit, we will treat this as a Website Error and provide a full refund, including shipping. Please provide your VIN when contacting support.
Where do I ship my return? PartsBlue utilizes multiple warehouses across Canada. Do not ship your part back to the address on the original shipping label. Our support team will provide you with the specific warehouse address for your return once it is approved.
How long does it take to get my money back? Once your return arrives at our warehouse, it undergoes a physical inspection (usually within 3–5 business days). Once approved, the refund is sent to your original payment method. Depending on your bank, it may take another 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
Can I cancel my order before it ships? Our system is designed for speed. Once an order hits "Processing" status (usually within 1 hour), it cannot be cancelled. In this case, you will need to receive the item and initiate a standard return.
How do I get my Core Deposit back? Place your old part in the box that the new part arrived in. Ensure all fluids are drained to prevent shipping hazards. Email us for the specific Core Return Address, as these often go to a different facility than standard returns.
What happens if my part fails after a few months? This falls under a Warranty Claim. Most parts we sell carry a 12-month manufacturer's warranty. Email us with your order details and a description of the failure. We will facilitate the claim with the manufacturer on your behalf.
